The advantages are too obvious and valuable to be neglected. In the past time people have to spend days on the way if they want to visit friends who lived far away, now taking cars, trains or airplanes can greatly shorten the tour time. And the great invention i.e. the computer, makes people communicate more conveniently. However, there exist some disadvantages as well. For instance, the worst problem that is blamed for the quick development of science and technology is environmental pollution. A large number of cars and factory emerged in recent years, which is giving off lots of harmful gas and waste. In addition, the forest is reduced and many kinds of animals disappeared.
