To Be a Punctual Person

Punctuality is of great importance whenever it is and wherever we are. It’s beneficial to us.

Being punctual is a good way to make a positive personal impact. It’s commonly admitted that showing up on time just indicates your respect for others. While being late to meetings or missing deadline just hurts your image.

The story of me is a case in point. As the best tennis player in my school, I took it for granted that I would surely be admitted to the school team, thinking the tryout was nothing that mattered to me. When I arrived at the tryout spot 20 minutes later than the appointed hour, I was told that I had been excluded due to my pride and unpunctuality. How regretful I felt！

As middle school students, we need some good ways to help us keep punctual. Apart from making a plan ahead, we are supposed to be more conscious of the time such as setting down some important appointments in our notebook, wearing a watch to remind us and so on. Most importantly, much significance should be attached to punctuality.

In my opinion, reading is of great benefit to us. For one thing, reading is a good way to make one more intelligent.
