It is reported that about 70% of people will leave their children to their parents to raise because they are so busy with their work and have no time to take care of their children, that is, grandparents take the responsibility to raise grandchildren. This phenomenon has caused lots of disputes because some people think children living with grandparents will develop egotism. In my opinion, leaving children to their grandparents has more disadvantages than advantages. Reasons are listed below.

据调查，大约有70%的人会把他们的孩子送给孩子的祖父母，因为他们太忙了，不能照顾孩子。意即，祖父母承担起抚养孙子们的责任。这种现象引来了很多争议。一些人认为与祖父母呆一起的孩子们往往会养成以自我为中心的坏习惯。在我看来，把孩子们送给祖父母抚养确实弊大于利。原因如下：

Firstly, grandparents tend to spoil children. Grandparents will satisfy all the requirements of their grandchildren because they are too love their grandchildren to turn their grandchildren down. So children will get whatever they want and if not, they would be bad tempered.

首先，祖父母会把小孩儿宠坏。祖父母总是会满足他们的孙子们的所有要求，因为他们太疼爱孙儿们所以不忍心拒绝孙儿们的要求。因此，孙子们总是能得到他们想要的东西，如果得不到的话，他们会脾气暴躁。

Secondly, staying with grandparents, children will easily develop egotism. As grandparents would do everything around their grandchildren’s need, gradually, those children will believe that no people would against their wills and abide by their words and ask others to do what they want and don’t think about other people’s feelings.

其次，与祖父母呆一起的孩子们往往很容易变得自我为中心。祖父母总会以孙儿们的需求为中心，渐渐地，孩子们会想当然地以为没有人会违背自己的意愿，而是会听从自己。因此，他们会让别人做他们想做的事情，并不考虑其他人的感受。

In conclusion, it isn’t good for our children to stay with their grandparents for grandparents will spoil children which make children bad tempered. Besides, it may be inevitable for children to develop egotism by staying with their grandparents. For the long run, parents should raise their children themselves and teach them in a good way.

总之，让小孩儿跟祖父母呆一起并不好。祖父母的溺爱会让他们的脾气变得很不好。另外，小孩儿也会变得自我为中心。为了长远考虑，父母应该自己照顾并好好教育自己的小孩儿。
